It's fabulous for quickly transforming some extra light cream cheese or natural yoghurt into a fabulous dessert with a little sweetener.
There are many different types of vanilla flavouring out there, ranging from cheap essences right up to whole natural vanilla pods which are really expensive.
I really like this one as it has a syrupy consistency and some little vanilla seeds from the pod giving it a natural appearance. Some of the thinner 'essence' type flavourings are quite synthetic and chemical-tasting. Try and buy the best you can afford.
